About the role
We are seeking a casual Sales Assistant to join our team at BARRY HAWKE'S BUTCHERY PTY. LTD. in Fyshwick, ACT. In this role, you will play a key part in providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy butchery.
What you'll be doing Assisting customers with purchasing high-quality meats and other produceStocking and maintaining the display cases to ensure an appealing presentationProcessing sales transactions and handling cash and card paymentsMaintaining a clean and organised work environmentProviding friendly and knowledgeable service to our valued customersSupporting the team with other general duties as requiredWhat we're looking for Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the food or hospitality industryStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanourExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environmentFlexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidaysA passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to upholding our high standardsWhat we offer
