Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toSales ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for planning and ensuring execution of the business, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems, and/or services profitably in the Measurement and Analytics (Instrumentation) Business Area. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible to exceed the sales targets through high performance ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement and Analytics (Instrumentation) Business Area in Moorebank, NSW. You will be mainly accountable for:Achieving/exceeding sales targets through implementation of account plans and strategic sales activities.Identifying and capturing opportunities at existing and potential new customers within the defined geographical area.Creating player maps to develop strong relationships with key customers and key decision-makers.Ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales, participating in negotiations of key contracts.Managing and keeping up to date, administrative procedures related to the sales processes (e.g., Salesforce).Preparing and offering quotations in coordination with the bid and proposal department. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.Qualifications for the roleA University Degree or Trade-Related qualification and experience will be highly regarded.At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Account management, Front-end sales of field instrumentation (Flow, Continuous Water Analysers, Level, Pressure, etc.).Strong Business acumen, a Hunter mentality, able to clearly demonstrate and present strong value propositions.Detailed knowledge on the application of industrial instrumentation and analysers.Sound understanding of the Water, Wastewater & Chemical market and Measurement applications is highly advantageous.Be articulate.More about usABB's Measurement & Analytics division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers.
