Matrix Education is hiring a casual Sales and Engagement Representative (Primary) to join us at our Sydney CBD head office.As a Sales and Engagement Representative, you will be conducting outbound calls and responding to inbound inquiries, with a goal to convert, deliver customer success and retain.This role is ideal for an up and coming sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding sales and performance targets.Full training and support is provided. Working hours (2-3 days per week) are rostered on a weekly schedule.What you'll do…Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective students and parents and effectively communicate educational solutions.Follow-up leads through calls and emails to nurture them through to sale.Provide feedback to improve relevancy and demand of offerings.Attend regular meetings with the Marketing and Service team to optimise communications regarding educational services and promotions.Keep accurate and detailed records of sales interactions in the CRM system.Ownership of end-to-end enrolment management, from trials, enrolment to retention.What you'll need…Minimum one year experience in a customer-focused role, ideally in outbound sales calls.Demonstrated ability to convert enquiries and problems into the delivery of solutions for customers.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a confident, polite and professional approach.Ease in being proactive and asking for a sale, as well as negotiating and solving problems with prospective customers when you hear 'no'.Proven success in achieving sales KPI's and results driven.Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and keen attention to detail when documenting and entering information.Previous experience in education management or enrolment advisory is desirable.A few of our perks…Head office located in the heart of the Sydney CBD.
