Role Details:Reporting to the Coordinator: Safety and Training, you will be responsible for the provision of the Agnew Safety management systems and training functions for both Underground Mining and basic of an employee at Gold Fields, we expect all levels of employees to act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance the values, safety culture and performance of Gold Fields to create enduring value beyond mining.This role is offered on either 8 day on 6 days, or an 8 day on 6 days off / 4 day on 3 days off roster. This is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.Benefits include:6% Site Allowance & Private Health Insurance AllowanceQuarterly Bonus SchemeSalary sacrifice optionsIncreased annual leave entitlementsLong service leave pro-rata after 5 years of continuous serviceAbout the role:Promote and maintain a high level of compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and programsEnsure Training Needs Analysis is current for all Mining and Processing functions and rolesEnsure area-specific induction training materials are up to date and delivered to required personnel and visitorsProvide input to the Department's Learning Management System (LMS) and accurately maintain training recordsAssist with the implementation of a National Competency-based training and assessment program, including the provision for regular re-assessment verification of competencies and ongoing evaluation of personnelParticipate in incident investigations, analyse findings and make recommendations as required.Assist with hazard identification, risk assessment and critical risk management processesReview procedures Training manuals and standards, ensuring all aspects of these are understood and clearly definedConduct audits and inspections ensuring compliance with Site and Department standardsAbout you:Minimum certificate IV TAE40116 Assessment and Workplace TrainingValid C class manual driver's licenceWorking at heights RIIWHS204D or above.Proven experience in developing site-specific proceduresExperience in Training management programs such as SuccessFactors LMSProven experience in Underground Mining background working with mining equipmentDemonstrated understanding & application of relevant legislationIntermediate level in Microsoft Office applications and document construction & review processesApplications can be submitted via: Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
