Health, Safety & Environment (Mining, Resources & Energy) Relines Australia is a mid-sized company that provides labour and services to the mining community throughout Western Australia. Our expertise is Mill Relining (replacing the liners in Ball & Sag Mills in processing plants on mine sites). This shutdown work requires specialist equipment to perform our job & we are searching for a full-time Safety & Training Advisor who will be responsible for the training & education of our personnel. This role will involve working on multiple Client sites and from our company facilities located in Welshpool.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Developing, maintaining and continuously improving the HS&T management systems in line with company standards and legal requirements. Championing HS&T processes such as risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety inspections across site. Providing in-field leadership, ensuring the effective application of the Relines Australia safety management system, and promoting a strong safety culture. Collaborating with site leadership to identify safety and training needs, implement improvements, and monitor the effectiveness of safety programs. Delivering hands-on training programs to personnel. What you'll have: Our ideal candidate will have some previous experience in a health, safety, or training role within the mining (preferred) or construction sectors.
Other key skills, experience and qualifications: Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS). Knowledge of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act and Regulations. Previous experience in developing and facilitating training to diverse groups. Ability to pass a full medical and drug/alcohol screen. Self-motivated. Sound computer skills, including the use of email, Word, and Excel. Willingness to work on a wide range of tasks involving on and off-site work and often irregular hours.
