Based in Perth, this role will also require you to travel to regional sites on a regular basis.Your primary skill set will be in safety, with suitable experience in environmental management. You will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all NBN installation projects comply with relevant safety and environmental standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental management systems in line with legislative and ISO standards.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and any relevant permits and approvals.Provide advice, support, and coaching to supervisors, leaders, and subcontractors on safety and environmental matters.Monitor subcontractor performance in relation to safety and environmental compliance.Provide advice and guidance on a range of environmental aspects including site contamination, vegetation, noise, dust, pollution prevention, weeds and disease, heritage, fauna, and waste and recycling.Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff understanding of SQE requirements.Assist or lead incident investigations, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders on SQE matters.Key Requirements:Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Suitable experience in a similar role, preferably within the telecommunications or utilities sector.Willingness to travel to various sites within metropolitan and regional Western Australia.In-depth knowledge of Western Australian safety and environmental legislation and standards.Proven experience in conducting on-site inspections.Proven experience in providing advice, support, and coaching to supervisors, leaders, and subcontractors.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer:Vehicle providedLAFHA applicable if travel requiredHelp us share in a brighter future with Enerven in a key role with a great supportive team, vibrant culture with genuine career development opportunities available.
