About the OpportunityThe Safety Partner (Assets and Ops) is a key role responsible for partnering with SA Power Networks' Managers, Leaders, and teams to provide expert advice regarding high-risk lifecycle safety principles. The Safety Partner (Assets and Ops) will attend strategic meetings, driving best practice, and deliver timely guidance on Safety & Wellbeing matters. This position ensures that safety is integrated into everyday conversations and decisions, aligning safety practices with business plans, goals, and legislative requirements.As the primary point of contact for safety-related matters, the Safety Partner (Assets and Ops) plays an instrumental role in promoting safety, reducing risks, and supporting a high-performance safety culture across the organisation. They will focus on prevention, incident management, investigations, and driving improvement initiatives, all while building strong relationships across teams to achieve a safe and engaged workforce.What You BringIn the role of Safety Partner (Assets and Ops), you will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for safety and wellbeing. Applying your solid foundation in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles, relevant qualifications, and expertise in incident response, investigations, and safety management, you will be instrumental in cultivating a mature safety culture by coaching and mentoring leaders and teams, integrating safety into everyday operations.Your strong communication and collaboration skills will help build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
