What's Involved An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Safety Officer to join our National HR Team in a newly created position. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of Health & Safety within our growing business and in turn, build your skillset and gain further experience within Health & Safety.

Duties performed will include: Conduct risk assessments inclusive of mobile plant, manual handling, plant and equipment, emergency management, chemical management, etc.Ensure site Risk Registers remain up to date with data collectionParticipate in workplace inspections with site management and ensure actions are reported in the action register. Assist as required to close out actionAttending WHS Committee meetings, taking minutes, and distributing them for future meetingsAssist the National Safety Manager in conducting WHS System Compliance AuditsSupport management and site leaders in implementing a contractor WHS management process to ensure that all contractors have the necessary insurance, safe systems of work, and competencies to work on our sitesGenerate RTW Plans for injured workers inclusive of the provision of suitable duties with the assistance of management and site leadersAssist the National Safety Manager with the Injury Management (IM) Program in accordance with IM legislative requirementsAbout You: You thrive in a fast-paced and engaging work environment where no two days are the same, valuing strong partnerships, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experiences:
2+ years' work experience in WHS/Injury ManagementCert IV in Work Health & SafetyHave a good understanding of Work Health and Safety Laws in states where Lynch Group operates (NSW/WA/QLD/VIC)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Thorough understanding of incident reporting and investigation processesConfidence and ability to communicate with people at all levels across the business High level of emotional intelligence Ability to travel between our sites if required FMCG industry experienceWhat you need to do: Please submit a CV and Cover Letter demonstrating your ability to thrive in this role to [email protected].
