First things first, a bit about the business:
A global business headquartered in the UK, this technology organization employs over 2400 people and has a suite of products encompassing Human Capital Management (HCM), Spend Management, Financial services and more.
Globally they have some of the most well-known brands as long-time clients.
Over the past few years they have streamlined their product suite and focused on providing software that makes a significant difference to their client base.
They are currently looking for an Account Manager who can work with existing local, state and federal government clients to manage renewals, look for new opportunities and also lead customers through a software migration project.
Now, let's talk about the job:
This role deals with accounts that are either local, state or federal government departments.
These accounts range from smaller to larger, with the biggest 2 departments accounting for over 20% of the ARR related to one of the key products.
The portfolio you'll manage will be around 40 clients, who in total have an ARR of several million dollars.
You'll need to be organized and give these accounts the professional love they deserve- QBRs, face-to-face meetings, meeting new personas within the accounts, and understanding their needs- both immediate and upcoming.
A typical client would spend between $50k-$100k in ACV, with some larger clients spending up to $250k annually.

You've spent 3+ years working in a client-facing role within a SaaS environment.
You could be an AE or BDM who wants to move into working with existing clients.
You could be a CSM who wants to move into a more revenue-focused AM type role.
You could even be an Account Manager who wants to move into another organization.
Ideally, you will have experience selling to/managing Government departments.
You are outcome-driven – you know what you need to do and how to get it done.
You will be comfortable working to and achieving revenue targets.
You can communicate and work well with your manager.
When you need help, you ask for it!
When you uncover information, you share it with the team.
You are proactive and positive and want to bring your best efforts to work.
Must haves:

3+ years experience in a revenue role in a SaaS organization.
A track record of working to and achieving targets.
A desire to uncover new opportunities- even within an existing client base.
