Talk to us about how this could work for you.Period of Appointment12 months.Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.DutiesAnalyse and document system integration, data migration and analytics requirements through working with and identifying issues with the business, external partners and technical SMEs.Develop system integration, data migration and analytics technical architecture in consultation with the Solution Architect.Document development standards and procedures.Develop system integration specifications, data maps and reporting models.Design, develop and test solution code and components.Document designs and code for support.Maintain a high level of code quality and conduct quality checks on team deliverables.Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions with technical specialists and business SMEs.Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with internal and external system specialists to plan and conduct unit and end-to-end testing.Assist the Solution Architect in the review of internal and vendor-delivered documents and specifications.The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.A Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.Pre-employment ChecksThe Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.The following checks are to be conducted:Arson and fire settingViolent crimes and crimes against the personSex-related offencesDrug and alcohol related offencesCrimes involving dishonestyCrimes involving deceptionMaking false declarationsMalicious damage and destruction to propertySerious traffic offencesCrimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and JusticeCrimes against Executive or the Legislative PowerCrimes involving ConspiracyDisciplinary action in previous employment.Identification check.Experience RequiredExperience using some or all of the following software/tools:REST, SOAP, JSON, XMLExperience working with Microsoft and/or Amazon cloud data services (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS), especially:Data servicesStorage and Data Lake servicesIntegration servicesWeb platform servicesAzure DevOps or similar continuous integration/continuous deployment toolsBusiness Intelligence products such as Power BI, QlikView or similar.Business process analysis and process improvement.Application ProcessTo apply, please provide a Short Form Application which is a 1-2 page covering letter outlining your experience, skills and knowledge as they relate to the Statement of Duties, and a copy of your current Resumé/CV.
