Position OverviewAs the RTO Mental Health Educator, you will play a crucial role in the education and development of Social and Emotional Wellbeing Health Workers for KAMS and its members. Your expertise will ensure that our training programs meet national standards and are delivered in a culturally appropriate manner. Your ResponsibilitiesPlanning: Develop and coordinate the Certificate IV Mental Health training program, ensuring all materials are updated and ready for delivery.Delivery: Conduct engaging training sessions in alignment with adult learning principles and KAMS health protocols.Assessment: Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback while maintaining compliance with RTO standards.Evaluation: Participate in evaluations to continuously improve the training programs and student outcomes.Who You AreIf you are an enthusiastic educator with a passion for mental health and a commitment to supporting Aboriginal communities, we want to hear from you! You should have:
Experience in teaching adults in the vocational education sector.A current TAE40116 qualification or equivalent.Cert IV in Mental Health or higher qualification in Mental Health.Desirable: Connections to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community, experience teaching Indigenous peoples, and familiarity with the ACCHO sector.Salary & BenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary of $99,766 per annum plus superannuation, you will enjoy a generous benefits package that includes:
