Our award-winning team is looking to grow, and we are seeking a highly-organised and proficient Landscape Architect to be based at either our Brisbane or Sunshine Coast office. You will be responsible for providing appropriate design solutions and documentation, ensuring client requirements are achieved in a profitable and cost-efficient manner.
As a Landscape Architect, you will have exposure to the full scope of the landscape design process across various industry sectors with a strong focus on urban regeneration across Victoria, ACT, New South Wales, and Queensland, with the opportunity to travel. Assist in achieving a successful project from inception to delivery and ensuring client satisfaction through the on-time delivery of a quality product. Prepare plans and documents for projects, including: - Computer-based plans (e.g., AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Hand-drawn sketch plans
- Written reports and specifications
Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues and proactively assisting client managers in finding solutions. Work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary design team. Assist client manager where required to ensure monthly invoices are completed on time and WIP is invoiced regularly. Stakeholder management internally and externally with clients, government subcontractors, sub-consultants, and industry bodies. YOU WILL HAVE
Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is preferred but not essential; Around 2 years previous experience in landscape architecture design within a professional practice; Some experience using Revit; Experience using relevant computer packages, i.e., AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop required; Comprehension of other computer packages such as Sketch-up, Lumion is advantageous.
