Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkWe are actively seeking aRotating Equipment Engineer to join our Strategic Engineering team in Darwin, on a permanent basis.In this role, you will act as a technical focal point for onshore rotating equipment and auxiliaries, offering technical assistance to the production, maintenance, and frontline engineering teams on rotating equipment issues.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the safe operation and maintenance of a significant fleet comprising gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and expanders within our LNG trains and Combine Cycle Power Plant in Darwin.Offering support and technical guidance to other Rotating Equipment Engineers, Rotating Equipment Inspectors, and Condition Monitoring personnel.Ensuring the optimisation and high-quality execution of maintenance activities across our operational facilities.Supervising the development and implementation of cutting-edge surveillance and monitoring tools to oversee the health of our rotating equipment fleet, including advanced rotor dynamic and thermodynamic modelling techniques and tools.Successful candidates will:Hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Have proven experience at a similar level, preferably in oil and gas industryHave extensive experience troubleshooting and maintaining heavy duty gas turbines, compressors, dry gas & mechanical seals, API pumps, diesel engines and preferably steam turbines desired.Exhibit strong knowledge of Original Equipment Manufacturers, vendors, repair, and overhaul providers for rotating equipment maintenance.Process driven reliability improvement experience and bad actor elimination valued highlyHave a detailed understanding of EP and Gas Processing (LNG) business processes and principles and demonstrated experience in maintaining asset integrity and assessing and controlling facility risk.Exhibit strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to those from other fields.Have strong interpersonal skills for fostering teamwork, collaboration, and inclusivity.Show a commitment to understanding diverse cultures and promoting a collaborative, respectful work environment.This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Darwin.Closing date for applications is 1 July 2024.
