About the Role This role is responsible for the management of a team of 12 Rostering Officers and the coordination of day-to-day operations, including accurate, timely, and efficient rosters for Collections across Metro and Regional NSW. Over time, the team and areas looked after will grow, and you will work shifts from 5 am to 8 pm and be available for on-call duties. This position is based at North Ryde or flexible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure that the Rostering team accurately enters data into WFD for shifts, changes, absences, overtime, and shift swap requests.Identify process gaps, recommend improvements in recruitment, onboarding, and rostering workflows, and implement changes with relevant stakeholders.Ensure the Rostering team posts rosters at least 2 weeks in advance.Maintain a pristine roster that accurately reflects staff profiles, availability, hours, and preferences.Aim towards zero closures and filling all vacancies.Provide direction to the Rostering team, including decision-making and problem-solving.Coach, support, and develop the Rostering team to excel and provide guidance on managing difficult situations.Support, participate, and implement national initiatives, including systems upgrades, legislative changes, projects, and workflows.Manage planned and unplanned closures and vacancies across the Collections network.Involve in national initiatives to improve and standardise collection rostering processes.About You: Previous experience in rostering or a similar role.Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).Ability to cope with short-term deadlines and manage competing priorities.Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workloads, multi-task, and meet strict deadlines.Proven experience with electronic rostering systems; WFD is ideal.Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style based on audience needs.Proven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes.Working knowledge of and the ability to apply Award conditions when shift rostering.Benefits, Perks, and Wellbeing As part of working for Healius, you will have access to a range of benefits and perks, including:
