Roster Co-ordinator - AEC Moorabbin, Mount Waverley and Frankston Part-time
At Animal Emergency Centre, we are committed to providing exceptional veterinary care with a passion for supporting our patients and their families.
We are currently seeking a Roster Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team across our Moorabbin, Mount Waverley, and Frankston locations.

This is a part-time position consisting of 26hrs per week, working 4 days per week across the three sites.
The Roster Co-ordinator will work directly with the AEC Victoria management and team leaders and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving roster requirements for the AEC Victoria team.
This role can be worked in conjunction with a clinical nursing position.

In this role your duties will include but are not limited to:
Writing/developing the staff rosters for all 3 sites that support workflow, team skillset, professional standards, & ensuring smooth operations.
Collaborating closely with the AEC VIC leadership team to identify roster requirements.
Assessing and responding to changing rostering needs within the AEC Vic team.
Managing annual leave requirements and scheduling, in consultation with team leaders.
Participating in the development and review of rostering policies and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with OHS, equal opportunity, privacy, and industrial relations.
Upholding confidentiality regarding staff details and particulars.
Utilising the Kronos system effectively to maximise its functionality and proactively evaluating all aspects of rostering to enhance efficiency.
The experience required for this role:
Proven experience in designing and managing rosters, ideally in a healthcare or veterinary environment, is preferable.
Excellent organisational skills with a focus on planning, managing information, controlling timelines, and meeting deadlines, including the ability to handle a demanding and rapidly changing workload.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in building positive and effective working relationships.
Ability to demonstrate punctuality, reliability and a high degree of autonomy.
Familiarity with the Kronos system or similar rostering software is advantageous.
