The General Manager - Oceania is responsible for managing and driving Ross Video's operations within the Oceania region, including Sales, Service Delivery, Creative Services, Marketing, and Market Vertical development. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, APAC, this role plays a key part in advancing Ross Video's market presence in Oceania, overseeing regional strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and revenue growth. This position involves a significant sales component, with a focus on strengthening client relationships, developing new business, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The General Manager - Oceania will align with Ross Video's global strategy while addressing the specific needs of the Oceania market. What the job is all about: General Management: Develop and implement a strategic and operational business plan for the Oceania region, aligned with Ross Video's global objectives and APAC initiatives. Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Sales - APAC to ensure strategic alignment with broader APAC goals, contributing regional insights and maintaining effective communication. Oversee budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation for Oceania, ensuring that financial objectives are met and ROI is maximized. Drive cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Service Delivery, Marketing, and Creative Services, fostering a cohesive and aligned approach across the Oceania region. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Oceania team, promoting employee engagement, cooperation, and development. Manage hiring, motivation, and evaluation of direct reports in collaboration with department leaders, promoting a high-performance culture and alignment with Ross Video's cultural values and Code of Ethics. Lead the Oceania sales team to achieve regional revenue targets, ensuring consistent growth and market penetration within Oceania. Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Senior Director of Sales - APAC, to expand market share and penetrate new customer segments. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key clients and promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty. Service Delivery Management: Oversee service delivery operations to ensure timely, high-quality customer support and project execution. Collaborate with the global service team to implement standardized processes, service levels, and quality assurance measures aligned with APAC and Ross Video's global standards. Creative Services Management: Manage the creative services team responsible for delivering high-quality video production solutions, including graphics, virtual sets, and augmented reality. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure timely delivery of creative projects that meet Oceania market needs and align with Ross Video's standards. Sports & Live Events (SLE) Vertical: Lead and oversee the Sports & Live Events vertical within Oceania, working closely with clients, production teams, and the global SLE team to maximize revenue potential. Develop and execute strategies to secure new sports and live event opportunities, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns specific to Oceania, aligned with Ross Video's global marketing objectives. Work with the global marketing team to adapt and localize marketing materials, messaging, and campaigns for effective regional engagement. Conduct market research and analysis to provide valuable insights into Oceania's customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape. Actively participate in sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, and contract negotiations. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders. Attend trade shows and industry conferences to represent Ross Video, expand market knowledge, and develop industry connections. Drive the development and execution of regional sales strategies, aligning them with divisional objectives to support the long-term growth and positioning of Ross Video within APAC. Lead their team to consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by managing a diversified client pipeline to ensure key prospects are identified, prioritized, and pursued to meet financial goals. Who you are: Education: Bachelor's degree in business, technology, marketing, or a related field preferred; MBA or relevant advanced degree is an asset. Experience: 5+ years in a sales leadership role in multiple geos or global sales environment, with demonstrated success in cross-regional strategy and operational leadership. Technical/Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of the Broadcast/Media Technology market, including experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and familiarity with Ross Video products or similar hardware/software technology. Skills: Exceptional strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in consultative selling and negotiation at executive levels. Business Acumen: High-level proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a keen understanding of ROI and resource optimization. Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% within the APAC region and globally as required.
