Job Description
Hourly Rate: $37.02 per hour. Kids on Carrington is a family-owned service located in Kalgoorlie.
Our service operates from 7am to 6.00pm providing quality care. We're a friendly and supportive team that offers career development, mentoring, and professional development. At Kids on Carrington, we are passionate and dedicated to the learning journey our little learners and educators go on each time they are in our Centre.
About the Role Full-time role. Act in a manner that promotes the best interest of the children.
Implement and assist in the development of a high-quality educational curriculum for all enrolled children that is consistent with the service philosophy, policies, procedures, and the National Quality Standards. Role model positive relationships for children in our care. Assist in the planning and development of an inclusive environment to support every child's learning. Demonstrate respect & build and maintain positive relationships with families. Build collaborative relationships with all staff based on trust, respect, and honesty. Engage in professional conversations with other educators. Support children's learning and development that incorporates the principles, practices, and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework. Advocate for children as competent learners and plan for their learning through purposeful interactions and teaching. Be a mentor and support to your colleagues to ensure consistent care and education across the service. Demonstrate initiative to support the service as a whole. Possess strong time management skills. Be passionate and invested in your work and workplace. Qualifications and Experience Completed Diploma and/or Cert III qualification (working towards Diploma). Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children's learning. Working with Children Check (Current). First Aid and CPR certificates including Anaphylaxis and Asthma. Completed Child Protection Course or willing to obtain. Good communication skills. Team player. Flexible with shift times. Respectful and caring practice with children.
