We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Roof Plumbing Apprentice!
1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th year Apprentices are encouraged to apply.
With the support of qualified trades people, you can expect to: Work alongside experienced roof plumbers to assist in the installation of roofing materials. Assist in the installation of gutters and downpipes to ensure proper drainage and water flow from the roof. Assist with maintenance tasks, such as cleaning gutters, inspecting roofs for damage, and identifying areas that require repair. Learn how to identify and locate roof leaks, and assist in the repair process. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations. Assist with the handling and transportation of materials, tools, and equipment required for roofing projects. Ensure the work area is kept clean and organised and properly store materials. Any other tasks requested by the host employer. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have: An interest and commitment to work in Construction. A White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP. A current manual driver's license and access to a vehicle. Work experience within the construction industry is highly desirable. Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail. Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously. Please note, to be eligible you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.
