This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to become permanent. The role offers a competitive salary of $480 - $500 + Super per day. You will be responsible for a mixture of management accounting and financial accounting, providing you with an excellent opportunity to utilise and develop your skills in both areas.

6-month contract with potential for permanency Competitive salary of $480 - $500 + Super per day Mixture of management and financial accounting What you'll do: As a Corporate Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of the accounting department. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and analysing accounting data, producing financial reports, establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, coordinating annual audits, providing recommendations for budget forecasts, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role provides an excellent platform to showcase your expertise in both management and financial accounting.

Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles Coordinate and complete annual audits Provide recommendations for budget forecasts Support month-end and year-end close process What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Corporate Accountant position brings proven experience in corporate finance along with an in-depth understanding of accounting principles, laws, and best practices. You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as finance software. Your analytical mind coupled with your problem-solving aptitude allows you to navigate complex financial data with ease. Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
