As the Business Analyst, you will play a critical role performing business analysis activities in support of the Business Transformation portfolio and Work Smarter Strategic pillar. You will work with the business to identify, scope, assess, and prioritise business improvement and transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will facilitate requirements gathering, benefits identification and costing of improvement initiatives to be added to the Portfolio Delivery pipeline.
Key responsibilities include: Work closely with business units to understand and document stakeholder pain points and business inefficiencies. Collect appropriate baseline data, analyse trends, and summarise process performance using relevant metrics as required. Review and analyse processes and provide recommendations for improvements to efficiency, effectiveness, capacity, and value-add. Document functional and non-functional requirements and work with business units and technology team leads to review and sign-off. Map processes and develop/map the current state / 'as-is' and future state / 'to-be' processes. Identify risks, issues and actions and ensure they are appropriately raised, documented and actioned in conjunction with the analysis work. Key requirements include: Formal qualification(s) in a recognised business analysis, quality management, agile or process improvement. Degree in business, business transformation and/or project management related discipline. Minimum 8 years' experience in process improvement/business analysis in a commercial organisation in a similar or related field. A demonstrated track record in delivering process improvements in a commercial environment which have resulted in improved efficiencies, improved business agility, customer/business satisfaction and reduced costs. Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party representatives. Demonstrated experience at planning for and managing organisational change. Overall, you will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers. Your professional behaviour and committed work ethic will demonstrate your ability to consistently achieve high standards of productivity with utmost integrity.
