We are looking for a qualified mechanic, auto electrician, or someone with good mechanical/electrical knowledge and aptitude to join our team. Previous experience in roadside assistance will be an asset. The right candidates must have excellent customer service skills, enjoy driving, good troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities, all combined with a genuine desire to help people stranded on the side of the road.
The ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated is essential.
The Position We have a Contractor opportunity available for an immediate start. The applicant must live in the Northern NSW area, preferably Banora Point or surrounding area. The candidates are required to work day shift, night shift, and at least one weekend on a monthly roster.
The chosen technician will receive initial and ongoing training on the job, as well as online and personal support via our management team, as we are a 24/7 business.
The Opportunity A contract role, you will run your own business and invoice the principal company. We will assist you along this path with short-term vehicle and equipment lease options available. You will supply your own basic hand tools and expand on these as you mature into the role, eventually owning and running your own well-stocked Roadside Assist patrol vehicle.
The Company We attend roadside incidents on behalf of prestigious Insurance Companies and Automotive Brands. You will receive allocated breakdown jobs on your phone and you perform them within our performance criteria, which includes arrival times, mobilization rates, and an expectation that you will deliver the highest standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
