The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for an individual to join our Sanitation Team as a Road and Footpath Sweeper on a contract for 6 months.
This position is based in Karratha and offers an attractive salary and other benefits including, but not limited to:
AllowancesSix weeks annual leave (pro-rata)13% SuperannuationThe Road and Footpath Sweeper is responsible for maintaining clean and safe roads and footpaths to ensure public spaces are free from debris and hazards.
This position involves the operation of road and footpath sweepers, and plant items allocated.
The successful candidate will possess:
High School education or relevant related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceGood knowledge of City areaCurrent HR class driver's licenceDemonstrated experience in the safe operation of heavy plant and/or ticketsNational (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)Applications are to include a CV and a covering letter (max 2 pages) indicating your ability to meet the role requirements.
