About the role We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at our Warwick branch. This pivotal role is essential for accelerating our growth and expanding our market presence across the Western QLD region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in not only achieving but also surpassing sales quotas through effective client relationship management and strategic business development. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving sales success and expanding our reach in the competitive Australian market.
Your key responsibilities: Develop and sustain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, comprehensively understanding their needs to offer tailored products and services that drive business growth. Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets for the territory. Maintain regular client engagement, acting as the main contact point, to deliver high-level service and support. Collaborate with the Nutrition team to address and resolve technical client issues, enhancing client satisfaction. Actively participate in and coordinate sales promotions, campaigns, and events to boost brand visibility. Build and maintain effective professional relationships with key individuals in existing and potential client accounts. Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and product developments specific to the territory. Contribute feedback to senior management regarding market insights, competitive threats, and customer needs. Systematically track and report sales metrics, and stay informed about new product launches. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for timely product delivery and customer issue resolution. Our Ideal candidate will possess: A minimum of 5 years experience in a sales role, preferably within the feed, agriculture, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Experience using CRM systems (highly desirable). Strong sales acumen, including negotiation and persuasive communication skills. Extensive product and industry knowledge with the ability to translate client needs into comprehensive solutions. Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
