Your opportunity Reporting to the Risk and Security Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our destinations for customers, retailers, and staff. Your efforts will help manage risk and compliance outcomes by supporting essential reporting and training activities.
About the Role: Each day brings variety, as you focus on delivering the best outcomes for our assets and customers. Your day starts with a morning huddle to align on key tasks. You'll engage with a range of team members and stakeholders—from casual staff to leadership—ensuring training and compliance obligations are met.
You'll manage deadlines, track progress, and maintain accurate records, while regular meetings with the Risk and Security Supervisor and Centre Manager will help keep you aligned with safety and audit requirements. You'll also support customers and centre operations through regular walk-throughs.
Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Risk & Security Manager.Ensure the Westfield Bondi Junction team completes training and meets compliance requirements.Maintain accurate records and reporting for compliance and risk matters.Track and monitor training, audit, and risk requirements.Use compliance systems to report, track, and resolve outstanding actions.Join us in this 12-month contract opportunity to support a team committed to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction at Westfield Bondi Junction.
What sets you apart You will have a background in security, exposure to risk management strategies, and a passion for retail property! Technically, you will also have the following skills and experience:
Effective Communication: Ability to clearly convey information to a diverse range of stakeholders, from casual staff to leadership.Documentation and Reporting: Proficient in documenting processes, preparing reports, and effectively communicating compliance requirements.Strong Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain accurate records in a dynamic work environment.Familiarity with Compliance Tools: Knowledge of compliance management systems and tools for tracking training, audits, and risk registers.Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced work environment.About us Scentre Group owns 42 Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand.
