Are you passionate about fostering a culture of safety and risk management?
As the Risk & Safety Specialist at GOTAFE, you'll lead initiatives that ensure a safe and healthy workplace, driving compliance with legislative frameworks and best practices.
Working closely with the Manager Governance & Risk, you will influence leadership, embed a safety-conscious culture, and support the development of risk management frameworks that enhance organisational outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesAs the successful candidate you will have:
Proven expertise in developing and implementing safety and risk management systems.Strong knowledge of OHS legislation, risk frameworks, and compliance standards.Experience engaging employees and leaders in safety initiatives and cultural change.Excellent skills in report writing, preparing business cases, and achieving safety and risk targets.Proficiency in using audit tracking and risk management systems.A relevant tertiary qualification and experience.RequirementsIf you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)A current Driver's Licence (Car).The salary range for this position is $108,038-$117,689 under the GOTAFE Enterprise PACCT Agreement 2023.
