The role Crown Resorts is currently looking for an experienced Risk Manager to join the Risk function in Sydney.
Reporting into and working closely alongside the Head of Risk, you'll support various business units to discharge Line 2 oversight responsibilities for the Sydney property across a broad remit including gaming, hospitality, F&B, property services and corporate.
As a valued partner to the business, this is a unique opportunity to deliver robust risk management and help to uplift our business' risk maturity.
As a key contributor, this role will have you being heavily involved across all facets of enterprise risk including Crown Sydney's risk management framework, risk appetite statement, risk appetite dashboard and overall governance, where you'll be presented with opportunities to develop and own key relationships to enable effective delivery of pragmatic and practical advice to the business.
Some of your key responsibilities will involve: Supporting the business maintain risk profile data and effectively support the business in managing its riskExecuting incident management tasks as Line 2 to ensure control gaps or weaknesses are upliftedReviewing hygiene of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systemDesigning initiatives to help uptake of the new GRC systemExecuting monitoring and oversight and develop Risk Management reportingSupporting completion of remediation deliverablesSupporting the embedment of the updated Risk Appetite Dashboard which may include uplifting the business' knowledge around tolerance indicators, metrics and reportingPromoting a strong risk culture and helping to embed this with our team members and leadersYou'll have: Demonstrated experience in Line 1 or Line 2 Risk Management roles in a medium to large organisationWorking experience in gaming, hospitality or banking / financial environments are advantageousExperience with risk management frameworks and building and maintaining risk profiles including the risk and control assessment processExperience with developing, maintaining and operating data within GRC systems to generate insights and identify trends and themes (knowledge with Archer GRC platform will be beneficial)Understanding of risk-based reporting to Management and/or BoardsUnderstanding of obligations in a regulated environmentSelf-starter, seeking to develop your risk management capability, skillset and delivery competency in a challenging and complex operating environmentAbility to obtain all required Casino Employee LicensesWhat we offer you: Permanent, full-time opportunity based in Crown Sydney (accessible by public transport – bus, train, metro and ferry)Opportunity to be part of a dynamic business and help to uplift Crown Sydney's risk maturityComplimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant (variety of hot foods, salad + sandwich bar, fruit and pastries)Opportunity to take part and be rewarded in Crown's group-wide recognition and awards programAbility to be an active member of and participate in Crown's community, diversity & inclusion committeesGenerous discounts across Crown hotels Australia wide, as well as our restaurants and barsAccess to discounts with various corporate partners across insurance, heath & wellbeing, fashion, banking & finance, technology and moreAdditional InformationWhat you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
