Working a weekday roster and reporting to the Metal Products & Carbon Maintenance Superintendent, you will be:
Supporting and leading a maintenance team across the Carbon department Ensuring site safety and operational standards are adhered to within your team Maintaining a safe work environment for your team Reporting safety incidents, near misses and quality issues Conducting daily Shift Start Meeting Monitoring, understanding, reporting, and recording operational KPI's for your team Liaising with Operations and Asset Management teams to work through operational issues in a timely manner and escalating when required Ensuring a high quality of maintenance work on assets About you:
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
A proven record of delivering outstanding safety performance Demonstrate proactive and positive leadership skills that result in an effective, engaged team Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence, and build credibility and trust across all levels of the organization The desire to work with the operations, technical and leadership teams to improve department and site performance Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and perform under limited supervision Strong resource planning and organization skills SAP Knowledge is favorable Previous maintenance experience What we offer:
