Reporting to the HSE Manager you will ensure the company maintains a healthy and safe working environment for all personnel, in accordance with Clough Management system expectations, operating standards, and HSSE management manual, statutory requirements, and client specifications.Your Focus will include:Responsible for delivering a project free from incidents, injuries and environmental harm by complying with HSE Management System and being fully engaged with all activitiesProvide support and active mentoring to the project team in all matters of Health, Safety andEnvironment on the Ichthys ProjectSupport HSE Manager in the development, implementation, monitoring and revision of theHSE Management Systems as requiredEnsure project team's compliance with all HSE related contractual and legal obligationsEnsure any accidents, injuries and incidents are appropriately recorded, and investigations areproperly conductedEnsure appropriate HSE Training programs are developed and delivered to all personnelResponsible for the management and delivery of HSE audits for the projectAssist with the development of pre-qualification and tender packages as requiredAssist with the preparation of the project's emergency response plans and procedures asrequiredIdentify potential issues and provide solutions to any HSE related mattersAssist in the preparation and analysis of the project performance reporting criteriaLead and participate in risk management activities to support the project in pursuit of an incident and injury free outcomeDevelop and deliver presentations as part of the HSE training and awareness programmeWhat you will bring to the team:Territory Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety5 + years of HSE experience in the construction or mining industryKnowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices and their application to the project.Experience as a HSE advisor on major projectsStrong influencing skills and the ability to develop relationships.Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, balancing resources, priorities and timescales to achieve objectives.Proficiency with the MS suite of software and prior experience utilising HSSE reporting systemsWe have created an environment that brings out the best in our people.
