Your role within the team The Reward and People Insights Manager shapes and manages employee rewards and compensation strategies for H&H Group ANZ, aligning them with the company's culture and business objectives. They are also responsible for advancing the People and Culture team's capabilities by analysing people data and generating insights to support strategic workforce planning.
The Reward and People Insights Manager is responsible for developing and enhancing comprehensive total rewards packages (salary, bonuses, benefits, incentives, and non-monetary rewards) aligned with H&H Group's needs and market trends. The role involves implementing systems, policies, and procedures related to total rewards and managing both operational and strategic elements of the reward and benefits function. This requires strategic planning and day-to-day operational execution, along with extensive reporting, data analysis, and system interactions.
Key responsibilities include: Remuneration: Lead and execute cyclical total rewards activities (annual remuneration review, bonuses), including system configuration, testing, communication, support for leaders, and collaboration with HRBPs. Lead and execute salary benchmarking processes, determining pay based on external market data, including interacting with providers (PayFactors, Mercer), completing salary surveys, and analysing market data. Review and enhance benefits packages to boost attraction and brand for H&H Group. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on designing and managing employee benefits. Advise leaders and P&C stakeholders on total rewards (remuneration, benefits, recognition). Assist the People and Culture team in developing cost-effective total rewards policies and standards. Support and guide team members and leaders on rewards policies and procedures. Manage relationships and communication with external rewards providers to ensure seamless service and information delivery. Coordinate forums to communicate total rewards plans, progress, and issues to stakeholders. People Insights - Reporting and Analysis: Leverage industry trends and insights, legislative updates, and best practices to keep compensation and benefits programs current and effective. Analyse internal and external insights to enhance total rewards, ensuring competitiveness and equity. Maintain and update reporting systems for accurate, timely information supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and HR strategic projects (e.g., DEI strategy, BCORP, GPTW). Analyse people and culture data to provide strategic insights for data-driven decisions and effective workforce planning. Ensure governance practices, data integrity, and compliance, including leading annual WGEA reporting submissions. Talent Mobility: Oversee talent mobility and ensure adherence to agreed business guidelines, which includes liaising with internal stakeholders on mobility, immigration and relocation activities and management of vendor relationships (migration, tax and insurance advisory agents). To make sure we're setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within a corporate environment. Experience managing compensation and benefits in Australia or Asia Pacific. Deep understanding of reward and benefits approaches, legislation, and performance links. Proven in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and pay determination based on market factors. Strong background in systems and processes. Skilled in cost modelling, strategic analysis, and data visualization. Skilled at analysing people data and generating insights for strategic workforce planning. Knowledgeable in external benefit and salary surveys and compliance reporting (e.g., WGEA). Track record of innovative reward initiatives and comprehensive HR reporting. Desirable experience in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and project management.
