Join our team as the Revenue Manager at The Star Brisbane.
The Star Brisbane is Australia's newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.
This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.
The Revenue Manager reports directly to the General Manager Hotels and will implement Rate and Inventory strategies to ensure the right rates are sold through the right channels at the right time across all distribution channels.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the chance to be part of the team setting the hotel strategy in collaboration with the Senior Leadership team.
A few of your responsibilities: Assist the General Manager Hotels to implement the required policies and procedure documents as they relate to revenue management principles and practicesEnsure that all revenue management strategies are communicated to the General Manager Hotels, and reservation sales teams, as well as ensuring all property revenue management strategies are implemented, maintained and measuredWork closely with the General Manager Hotels on all aspects of revenue maximisation across all distribution channelsProduce daily, weekly and monthly statistics and monitor trends, utilising company reportsHave a clear understanding of all revenue related statistics, such as competitor trends and statistics; average Length of Stay, average Lead Time of reservations and cancellations, allotment materialisation by room type and agent, pick up trends by market segment and price demand by season and market segmentWhat we will be looking for: Demonstrated commercial acumen in a fast paced, evolving high growth environmentExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships and communicate confidently with a variety of stakeholders at all levels across the business and externallyHighly developed analytical and conceptual abilityWell-developed attention to detail in a high-pressure environmentAbility to handle tight and conflicting deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracyAbout you: You are a seasoned Revenue Manager whose expertise lies in maximising financial performance by strategically managing room inventory, pricing, and revenue analysis. With a keen eye for market trends and a strong analytical mindset, you excel in optimising revenue streams and driving profitability. Your track record includes developing pricing strategies, forecasting revenue, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve revenue targets. You are dedicated to utilising data-driven insights to make informed decisions that positively impact the bottom line.
