Revenue And Recovery Officer - 2646

Livingstone Shire Council has an opportunity available for a Revenue and Recovery Officer and the team is looking forward to welcoming its newest team member.
Candidates will have experience in the management of general accounts receivable, timely processing of transactions, the recovery of outstanding debts and will have a sound understanding of Local Government Revenue Raising and Debt Recovery principles.

As a Revenue and Recovery Officer, you will maintain the integrity of Council's financial records and play a key role in maintaining rating and debtor databases.
You will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and financial assistance in a professional, efficient, and confidential manner.
A proficient multitasker, you will respond promptly to enquiries and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner whilst managing competing demands of your time.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of debt recovery procedures (or willingness to learn) whereby you must be able to deal with people at all levels within the organisation and with external customers.
