We supply families and businesses with premium fruit and vegetables as well as offering a large range of speciality items our delicatessen and grocery departments. We are proud to support local farmers both here in Victoria and across Australia, giving our customers access to the best produce possible.In this newly created position, as the Retail Team Leader, you will have responsibility for overseeing the day to day operations of the shop, deli and grocery teams with a significant focus on leading, coaching and developing team members.To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate a proven background in leading and supervising teams, creating high performing cultures and developing team members through on the job training, coaching and mentoring. This is a hands on role that will see you on the shop floor, serving customers, performing opens and closes and ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.There will be a requirement for early starts and late finishes, as well as weekend work. During peak periods such as in the lead up to Christmas or to cover staff during leave periods additional weekends and/or early morning and late finishes may be required.Previous experience in a similar type retail environment is preferred however not essential. It's your attitude, leadership and genuine commitment to delivering a customer service experience that will see you succeed in this role.
