The opportunity
We have an opportunity available for a Retail Support Estimator to join our Dennis Family Housing division. Reporting to the Retail Services Team Leader, you are responsible for the prompt review and implementation of requested documentation. This is to allow for the delivery of Variation Catalogue items and Standard Design Options, in accordance with established timelines, quality standards and a high level of client satisfaction. In addition, you will deliver the following:
Removal of expired and discontinued products from offer. Validation of all Contract output descriptions to ensure they are accurate and easily understood by clients and the wider business. Validation of retail pricing for VPB selections when required to ensure margin is maintained. Maintenance of the Sales Force sales catalogue, to be in line with the VPB master file. Estimation of Variation Price Book selections using recipes in the Databuild estimating system. Communication of all changes to the Variation Price Book, including new product, price changes, and description alterations. Liaise with the Tech Services Estimating team when required to establish accurate pricing on any new selections created. Ensure documentation in line with DFC standards, legislation requirements and service standards. About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum 5 years residential construction background and experience. Minimum 5 year estimating experience along with a keen attention for detail. Able to communicate well and work as part of a team. Good organisational abilities. Sound Databuild software skills preferred. Microsoft (M.S.) Excel and Word experience. Able to read and interpret Architectural plans and identify anomalies.
