Retail Sales Assistant

As the Retail Sales Assistant, you are responsible for day to day sales in retail store store (Corporate Wear, Schoolwear, Teamwear, Trophies and Promotional Items), maintaining a clean and presentable retail space that maximises sales from the retail store; you are responsible for the "retail face" of the business and as such it is critically important that you ensure ongoing and consistent positive customer experiences.Specific responsibilities include:Ensuring an exceptional customer sales experience through your product knowledge, presentation and interpersonal skills that fosters repeat business and a strong business brand within the Goulburn Valley region.Control and account for incoming and outgoing mail and pickup and collection of same to the post office at agreed intervals.Control and account for banking in terms of taking cash received from cash instore retail transactions to the nominated bank at the agreed times each week.Control and account for stationary ordering and mail.Experience, Expertise and Personal AttributesExperience working in a team within a retail settingExcellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skillsFlexibility in terms of work task, work times along with the ability to multi task.Firm understanding of sales, promotions, trends and retail marketsExcellent customer service skillsAlert, energetic and enthusiasticTo see full list of current vacancies go to #sheppartonrecruitmentagencies
