Retail Team Leader $26.21 per hour, Part Time Sea World, Main Beach, Gold Coast The Opportunity:
The Sea World Retail department are currently taking expressions of interest for current appropriately skilled Retail team members who are interested in applying for the position of Retail Team Leader at Sea World's Retail Outlets and Photo Centre.
Your day to day:
• Ensure a smooth daily operation of the outlet and provide clear direction to the team.
• Report any issues that may affect outlet operations immediately your supervisor.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to maintain correct stock levels and recording keeping processes.
• Train and assess competency of Team Member's to assist in team development and mentoring.
• Ensure that all photographs with guests are completed to a high quality company standard.
• Ensure your outlet is well presented at all times, including displays, signage and front of house areas and have a strong product knowledge.
• Provide excellent guest service and create and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Operate POS register with accurate cash handling ensuring procedures are adhered to for auditing and compliance purposes.
• Conduct tasks to contribute to store operations, such as opening, closing and restocking.
What you'll bring:
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team.
• Existing Team Leader experience is desirable.
• Prior experience managing teams is essential.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong Attention to Detail.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cash handling and Point of Sale
• Comprehensive photography knowledge and skills is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of Kodak Systems is essential.
• Must be computer literate and knowledge of SAP processes an advantage.
• Ability to work on any day including weekends and school holidays.
