About the opportunity: As our Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience. Every year around one million customers walk into one of our Australia Post Offices. It's our retail teams who make sure that every experience they have is a great one, supported by a welcoming team, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.
About the role: 12 weeks on-the-job paid training, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, various shifts.Casual on call as required after training - Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between the hours of 8.45am to 5.06pm.Adult Pay Rate $33.66 increases to $35.98 after 3 months training + 12% Superannuation.You'll be: Performing customer sales and service transactions.Managing high-value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS).Conducting and processing identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.Promoting products and services through up-selling and cross-selling.Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associated costs.Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs.Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.About you: You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, with a passion for customer service. You'll also need to:
