Retail Buyer

Located in Carrara, QLD, our company is operating a wholesale and retail groceries shop providing everyday produce ranging from seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables to all kinds of groceries.We are looking for an experienced Retail Buyer on a permanent basis to manage and negotiate prices with suppliers, select and purchase various product types.Main Duties:Managing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of products.Managing inventory and stock stakes and determining quantity and frequency of purchase.Recommending types of product promotions, clearance sales and varying delivery schedules to help control stock levels.Monitoring and reporting on sales and adjusting types and volumes of product orders.Requirements:At least one year of experience in food wholesale and/or retail industry.
