Retail Butcher or experienced Chef willing to learn to Cut, and Prepare Quality Meats for an iconic Leading Meat Supplier.
A full-time role for a hands-on butcher in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working industry leading specialists at a historic venue.
Requires: 3 years minimum butcher experience, No Sponsorships.
Ability to work market hours, including Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Salary guide: $80,000 - $100,000 Depending on experience Location: Melbourne CBD & Inner Suburbs Your normal day will involve: Boning whole lambs, full-body pigs, and occasionally beef half-carcasses Knife skills with meat, cutting experience includes (lamb, pig, beef) Preparing meats for market days and filling cabinets Serving customer requirements and managing daily meat orders Supporting the senior butcher, handling both front and back of house tasks Occasional use of the bandsaw (where qualified) Your next employer is a long-established meat supplier with a proud history since 1908.
