store offers a wide range of curated news/magazines, books, gifts, and travel essentials for our travellers before they jet off to their destination. Your role as Assistant Store Manager
is to provide friendly and efficient service to our customers by delivering a high-quality product and a memorable experience. Responsible for the management of the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager, this is a hands-on role that will require you to work alongside all team members to achieve high service outcomes and build a positive team environment. To operate at the optimum level, you will have at least 2 years of experience in leading a team in a retail environment. We are looking for a leader who will:
Demonstrate solid retail/hospitality operational experience and people management skills Be a strong communicator and team motivator with professional presentation standards Be team-focused and results-driven with an entrepreneurial business approach Provide effective training to staff in the areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control, and merchandising Exhibit excellent organisational and time management skills Possess strong computer literacy including MS Office suite Champion maturity, initiative, and a sense of urgency
As we operate in a dynamic airport location, our stores operate 7 days a week to meet our customers' needs. With this in mind, you would be expected to be reasonably flexible with your availability to work outside of normal business hours if required. Who we are:
