We are seeking a customer-focused sales assistant with a willingness to learn, or a welding tradesperson looking for a career change to join the team based in our Ballarat store.What you will enjoy doingYou will interact with customers daily to provide solutions to their welding, fabrication, and gas-related challenges.Willing to learn and understand modern welding processes.Handling phone and counter sales, processing customer orders, and responding to requests for information and pricing.Your role includes development and upkeep of in-store displays and promotional material.You will be responsible for stock management and the dispatching and receiving of goods.What makes you greatYou have a trade background or experience in customer service and a retail sales environment.In addition, you possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.You are reliable, dependable, and willing to grow your knowledge of the welding process.Having a forklift license or willingness to acquire one is essential.Why you will love working with usThinking outside of the box, working on new topics and concepts, and delivering great solutions to our internal customers is essential to bring success to our business.
