About the Opportunity: As a leader of the Restaurant team at The Sundays, you'll play a vital role in bringing our ethos of joyful relaxation and connection to life within the dining experience. You'll be the face of our restaurant, welcoming guests with warmth and ensuring that each visit embodies the spirit of a perfect Sunday—unhurried, inviting, and memorable. Your team will be guided by your commitment to quality and hospitality, creating a dining experience that encourages guests to slow down, savour the moment, and enjoy time with loved ones. In this key position, you'll coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service that flows naturally, reflecting The Sundays ethos at every step. From managing reservations to overseeing service standards, you'll set up and shape Restaurant operations, cultivating an atmosphere where guests feel at ease and attended to. Your leadership will be essential in establishing a restaurant experience that feels like a cherished Sunday gathering—a place for connection, shared moments, and delicious memories that linger long after the meal ends. What You'll Do: Motivate and support the Front of House team, establishing a welcoming and positive culture from day one. Oversee daily Front of House operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences. Build a strong team through effective onboarding, coaching, and skill development. Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to maintain clear communication and efficient service flow. Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenue opportunities. Uphold The Sundays' ethos in all interactions, creating a relaxed and memorable dining experience. What We're Looking For: Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar, with at least 12-18 months of supervisory experience (preferred). QLD or Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (essential) Drivers Licence (essential) Strong leadership, communication, training, and team-building skills. Solid understanding of restaurant operations and service standards. Ability to handle unexpected challenges with poise and professionalism. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (essential). Passionate about creating positive guest experiences aligned with The Sundays' ethos. Ready to tackle the unique challenges of an opening team with a calm and steady approach.
