We focus on motivating and retaining our talented team members to ensure our ongoing success.Job DescriptionThe Mercure Townsville has a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, "hands-on" leader with a guest-focused approach to exceed guest expectations.As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of Celsius Restaurant. You will work closely with the front-of-house staff to inspire and develop our team while maintaining our high standards of food and service.Key Responsibilities:Manage, run, and control the operational floor of the restaurant according to business demand.Set, implement, and review service standards to ensure consistent quality.Conduct training, performance evaluations, and counselling of staff.Recruit and select team members who align with our standards and values.Efficiently manage rosters and costs to optimise operations.Review guest feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes.Ensure WH&S and sustainability commitments are upheld within the department.Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.QualificationsProven experience in leading and managing a successful team in a high-volume restaurant.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work effectively in a team environment.Outgoing personality with a positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to think creatively.Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.Immaculate personal presentation and attention to detail.Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.Flexibility to work shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.Additional InformationAn organisation that will support you in your personal and professional development.Flexibility.Work with an International Hotel Group and enjoy the staff benefits worldwide.
