More than 65 million members benefit from the group's complete loyalty program, ALL - Accor Live Limitless.Job DescriptionWe are seeking passionate and driven individuals to take on the role of Restaurant or Café Manager.We are hiring for multiple positions across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane!As our next Restaurant or Café Manager, you will:Ensure Team Members greet guests and escort them to tablesSchedule dining reservationsTrain and monitor Food and Beverage Attendants and ensure service standards are metEnsure accurate recording and verification of Team Member time recordsManage all Team Members in all aspects of the daily operation of the outlet, providing the necessary assistance where requiredEnsure that approved service sequences and standards are established and maintained at all timesEnsure that all opening and closing procedures are carried out to an acceptable standard and supervise outletMaintain efficient operating procedures for the outlet's point of sale cashiering computer system, ensuring accuracy and balancing of till and the department cash floatMaintain a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials; and ensure security of outletPromptly report any maintenance work required to the Manager and/or maintenance departmentMaintain all outlet stock levelsConduct daily briefingsComplete the Restaurant daily log bookDevelop training plans and conduct on and off the job training sessions for all outlet Team MembersAttend all scheduled food and beverage and other relevant meetings when requiredMonitor outlets manpower, payroll budget, control costs and maximise profitabilityTake extreme care with personal grooming in order to maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance and monitor service personnel's appearance and groomingBe punctual, efficient, and courteous at all times with guests and fellow Team Members alikeBe aware of own work schedule and always provide adequate notice when circumstances prevent one from adhering to that scheduleHandle all guest complaints immediately, courteously and satisfactorilyEnsure all guests are greeted and escorted to their allocated tables when possibleAssist with conducting performance appraisals of subordinates as instructedPerform other duties as may be prescribed from time to time due to operational needsQualificationsA strong communicator with well-developed stakeholder managementThe ability to balance multiple priorities and act with a sense of urgency, whilst remaining calm under pressureThe possession of a valid RSA5-star hotel background as a Supervisor/Manager in a food service fieldExceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise in order to meet allocated timelines and budgetsThe ability to remain calm when under pressureThe ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidaysAdditional InformationAnnual Base Salary: $70,696.25 (gross)
