DescriptionJob Summary: Provides respiratory care services: safe, skillful, accurate and in an efficient manner, age-appropriate and population specific to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician, guided by department guidelines, policies, procedures and protocols.

Certification/Licensure: Current credentials with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC): Certification required, Registry preferred.Current State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner License required.Adult/Pediatric CPR certification required (Available upon employment).Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required (Available upon employment).ACLS/PALS certification preferred.Experience Requirements: Minimum of one to two years clinical experience as a student therapist.
Working Conditions: Exposure Category I--Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
