About the role An exciting opportunity for an experienced Respiratory Scientist to join the Eastern Health Respiratory Laboratory Service as a Grade 3 Respiratory Scientist/Deputy Head of Respiratory Laboratory Services. The position has a combination of clinical and managerial responsibilities and requires demonstrated expertise in the area of Respiratory testing, Cardiopulmonary exercise testing, Oxygen therapy, Quality Assurance and Management duties. This position will be required to work in Respiratory Laboratories across all sites at Eastern Health.
About you To be successful in this role you will possess:
Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalentCertified Respiratory Function Scientist (CRFS, ANZSRS)A minimum of eight years' experience in the field of respiratory scienceKnowledge of Cardio-pulmonary exercise testsUnderstanding of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and their management and applicationExperience in overseeing training and education programs for scientific staff inclusive of ANZSRS competency assessments.Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
