Lead the delivery of executive and strategic support to the Lands Division, provide high level strategic advice and analysis to the Deputy Director-General and lead executive and business support services across Lands Division. Proactively identify opportunities for positive change, engagement and innovation, and drive a future focussed culture.
About the role:
• Lead the provision of analysis, strategic and operational advice and support to the Lands Division Executive Leadership team on issues that impact organisational and divisional responsibilities and objectives.
• Lead and enable implementation of approved strategies that are aligned and co-ordinated with the Government's and the Department's strategic direction to maximise service delivery.
• Lead the development of divisional initiatives which incorporate strong governance, strategic and operational planning, performance reporting, risk management, and health, safety and wellbeing, to drive high performance and continuous improvement of the division.
• Lead the executive and business support response across Lands Division, collaborating with the department's corporate teams to add value and promote a strong customer focus.
• Build and maintain collaborative partnerships within the division, across the department and with key stakeholders, to negotiate effectively in support of divisional and departmental objectives and desired outcomes.
• Build and lead a high performing team and a positive culture within the Office of the Deputy Director-General, role modelling workplace health and safety, ethical behaviours and good decision making.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes diversity and inclusion and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations.
• Actively participate as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
