The Role
This strategic leadership role is pivotal to the company's growth and pathway to operational excellence. As the Head of Operations, you will drive integration across the asset value chain, oversee field and facility operations, and deliver strategies to enhance performance and value. You'll have the opportunity to design and implement an integrated operations centre, embed data-driven decision-making, and lead initiatives that prepare the organisation for sustained growth. Reporting to the General Manager, you will influence strategy, manage a high-performing team, and optimise production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Drive integration across the asset value chain, including production and asset engineering. Deliver operational strategies to achieve production targets and improve efficiency. Manage the annual operational budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Establish and implement continuous improvement processes, analysis, and routines. Lead contractor management and oversee key external relationships with JV partners. Develop and embed a high-performing culture of operational excellence and safety. Oversee planning, forecasting, and reporting to drive informed decision-making. Skills & Experience Engineering degree (mechanical, petroleum, electrical, or equivalent); MBA preferred. Proven experience in leading operations within the upstream oil & gas industry. Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Expertise in operational and maintenance strategies for field, facilities, and pipelines.
