The Role:
This newly created position is pivotal to the company's growth and success. As the Head of Asset Planning, you will drive strategy and lead an integrated approach to optimising asset value across exploration, development, and operations.
This senior leadership role bridges executive and management teams, positioning you as a key influencer in shaping operational strategy. With a dynamic and committed team, you will have the opportunity to implement transformative solutions that propel the company toward its vision of operational maturity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the asset planning function, integrating strategic, operational, and commercial priorities. Collaborate with asset management, operations, and finance teams to create and execute long-term plans. Drive operational improvements to support the successful delivery of the company's field development program. Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, including key leadership roles such as the Asset Engineering Manager. Provide strategic oversight of upstream assets to ensure optimized performance throughout their lifecycle. Skills & Experience:
Proven strategic leadership experience in upstream oil & gas. Deep expertise in asset planning, including financial modelling, budgeting, and economic analysis. A strong commercial mindset with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex environments. A track record of driving operational improvements and delivering measurable value. CPA qualification or equivalent is advantageous. Next Steps:
