As Resource and Administration Officer, you will support the work of the Community Development team, providing highquality information and administration. You will be a central source of information and support to Age Scotlandmembers, developing good professional relationships with members and ensuring that they are at the heart of AgeScotland's work.
You will also be involved in supporting the administration of Community Development events and the Community GrantsProgramme, as well as developing, monitoring, and reviewing systems and procedures to ensure maximumorganisational effectiveness.
The post will be a hybrid blend of a minimum of 3 days office based (in Edinburgh) and home-based work.

As Energy Trainer, you will be involved in developing and delivering online and face-to-face energy and cost ofliving advice workshops for older people in Scotland, and those who support them. You will represent AgeScotland at community events and conferences, providing information and making referrals to our helpline fortailored advice.
Our workshops and events cover a variety of energy and cost of living related issues, including:
• saving energy and money.
• understanding energy bills and tariffs.
• the health-related impacts of living in a cold home.
• the Priority Services Register.
• fire and carbon monoxide safety.
• smoke and heat alarm regulations.
• financial support including benefits, home energy efficiency grants and schemes, and social tariffs.
• other information, advice and support provided by Age Scotland.
You will play a hand in training staff members and corporate partners about the issues people face in later life,collecting qualitative and quantitative feedback for project evaluation, and supporting the development of AgeScotland's energy and cost of living related information resources.
The post will be mainly home-based in mainland Scotland north of the central belt and will require frequent travelaround Scotland.

People-centred in approach, you will be responsible for providing an exemplary 'First Port of Call' service in ahybrid virtual contact centre environment. You will respond to inbound and outbound contact, providinginformation and friendship to older people living in Scotland, their families and carers. You will provide coverand support to other telephony services within Age Scotland.

Fauna & Flora's Scotland team is actively working to develop ways to offer further in-depth support to thecommunity groups we work with to address the barriers that they identify and are looking to build our input inthe terrestrial sphere, including taking part in conversations around rapidly developing nature financemechanisms, and increasing our stakeholder network. This is an exciting stage for the team, as we furtherdevelop aspirations around land-based community conservation, as well as support the Coastal Communities Network(CCN) on their journey towards independence as a community-governed network.
This internship is a valuable learning opportunity for someone with an interest in community-led conservation inScotland. You will work across the Scotland team, engaging with colleagues within the wider Eurasia regionalprogramme and relevant cross-cutting teams, as well as locally-based partners and contacts. You will gainknowledge of the current conservation context in Scotland, increase your understanding of project developmentwithin small teams, build your networks and support the planning and running of workshops and events. Morespecifically, you will play a key supporting role in the development of our work in Scotland through: desk-basedresearch on community-led conservation, updating stakeholder mapping, network research, supporting key meetings,and a review of Scotland's national and international nature obligations. There is also the opportunity tosupport the organisation and delivery of the CCN annual gathering in October 2024 and planned communityworkshops later in the year, as well as to engage in national policy consultations.
Note that this internship has been designed to create a professional development opportunity for people who are newto the conservation sector. Therefore, applicants should have less than two years paid or unpaid experience inthe conservation sector (not including academic work).
