An opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancer to join our award winning law firm rooted in the southwest community.
To provide and build on the existing conveyancing team in the west of the county in order to meet the needs of the ever-growing client base in this region. The role of the Conveyancing Fee Earner is to ensure that the house buying and selling process is conducted smoothly and consistently for our clients. We are looking for self-motivated Conveyancing Fee Earners who will take pride in delivering excellent customer service every time.
In this newly created role you will work in our Residential Property Department and become a key member of our busy established team taking the client on their journey from the initial instruction stage to Post-Completion.
What you will do: Manage a varied caseload from start to post completion including; sales & purchase, equity release, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, lease extensions, freehold, leasehold, newbuild, affordable housing and auctions.
Hold and develop new relationships with introducers Manage more complex cases such as creation of new easements, adverse possession, relinquishing easements or covenants, etc. Liaise with vendors, purchasers, solicitors, financial advisors and estate agents Experience and Qualifications you need: At least 3 years' conveyancing experience in managing a varied case load Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer To take on this challenge you will have: An exemplary background in all aspects of conveyancing Good organisational skills with a proven planned approach Excellent computer skills and be competent in the use of MS software and case management software Excellent and strong communication skills and an approachable manner A pro-active approach to risk management You will love this role if you: You want to make a difference in a forward-thinking business that delivers great customer service coupled with a desire to innovate and improve the existing home purchase customer journey.

This is a full time position. 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.
